About the figure

I bought this figure at website https://gsculp.art. Original model is sold under the name “Gunaty – pale priestess” and author designs all models as printable till size 1:6. I printed the figure to get height between 6 and 8 inches as this is optimal size for my display case.

Preparation for 3D print is crucial operation of printing process. I had to find correct angle for all parts to avoid destroying small details and still be able to remove all supports as easy as possible. Fortunately, author tests printing of each figure he makes. I can only recommend him, all figures are designed in intelligent way and they are easy to print.

Painting

I used Vallejo Model Color paints. For the first time, I used airbrush for creation of smooth colors transition. It is very easy and fast, even for such inexperienced figures modeller like me. I also used transparent UV resin to create 3D effect on forehead gem as a final touch.
I found out that I am very limited by my color palette, although I though it is wide enough. It turned out it is not.
Therefore I plan to buy more color shades, because I already printed 5 more figures and I look forward to finish them soon.
